Yield: Makes 4 servings
Preparation Time: 10 minutes; Cooking Time: 10 minutes
1 | lb. | round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick | |

2 | tablespoons | salad oil | |
|
|||
1 | medium onion, sliced | ||
|
|||
1 | medium green pepper, sliced | ||
|
|||
1 | envelope Ehlers Au Jus Gravy Mix | ||
|
|||
3/4 | cup | water | |
|
|||
4 | teaspoons | soy sauce | |
|
|||
1/2 | teaspoon | ground ginger | |
|
|||
3 | cups | hot cooked rice | |
|
Cut meat in half lengthwise with a shape knife, then crosswise into slices. Cook meat, onion and pepper in skillet in hot oil until meat is browned. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve over rice.
