3 | large, tart apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges | ||

2 | tablespoons | lemon juice | |

2/3 | cup | apple juice | |
|
|||
2/3 | cup | packed brown sugar | |
|
|||
2 | tablespoon | butter | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | ground cinnamon | |
|
Place apples in an ungreased 11x7 inch baking dish. Drizzle with lemon juice; toss to coat; set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine the apple juice, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Pour over apples.
Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
