2 | pounds | butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces | |

2 | large apples, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces | ||

1/4 | cup | brown sugar | |
|
|||
2 | Tablespoons | honey | |
|
|||
2 | Tablespoons | orange juice | |
|
|||
1 | Tablespoon | butter, melted | |
|
|||
2 | teaspoons | orange zest | |
|
|||
1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Layer squash and apples in an 11 x 7 x 2- inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, butter, orange zest and salt . Pour over squash and apples.
Cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender.
